Prawn Rice Balls

Directions

Step 01

Mix together prawn mince, spring & Hanson’s Fried Onions, mushroom, salt, sugar, black pepper powder, sesame oil & egg.

Step 02

Add corn flour & mix until all ingredients bind together.

Step 03

Divide the mixture into small balls, about 15 gms each & chill.

Step 04

Soak rice for 30 minutes. Drain well.

Step 05

Spread this on a plate or a flat tray.

Step 06

Roll prawn balls on the rice until it gets well coated.

Step 07

Place each ball on a greased tray, ensuring that there is enough space between each ball.

Step 08

Steam for 30 minutes. Serve hot.

Ingredients

  • 250 gms Prawns (cleaned minced)
  • 20 gms Scallions (diced)
  • 25 gms Hanson’s Fried Onions
  • 10 gms Mushrooms (finely chopped)
  • 5 ml Sesame Oil
  • 50 gms Egg (beaten)
  • 20 gms Corn Flour
  • 100 gms Rice
  • Salt, Sugar & Black Pepper (for taste)
