Gosht Masala

Directions

Step 01

Heat oil in a large saucepan, add cinnamon, cardamom & add clove to it.

Step 02

When the spices begin to splutter, add onion & sauté until golden.

Step 03

Add Hanson’s Ginger-Garlic Paste & mutton cubes & sauté on low heat.

Step 04

Add coriander, cumin, Hanson’s Red Chilli Paste, turmeric powders & salt.

Step 05

Add water, cover the pan & allow the meat to cook.

Step 06

When the meat is almost done, add tomatoes & allow to cook for some more time on low heat.

Step 07

Flavor the dish with lemon juice, black cardamom & fennel powders.

Step 08

Garnish with ginger, coriander & butter. Serve with chapattis.

  • 125 gms Mutton Cubes
  • 500 gms Sliced Onion
  • 1 kg Tomatoes (Chopped)
  • 75 gms Hanson’s Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 150 ml Oil
  • 30 ml Lemon Juice
  • 75 gms Ghee
  • 3 gms Cinnamon
  • 2 gms Cardamom
  • 2 gms Clove
  • 30 gms Coriander Powder
  • 30 gms Cumin Powder
  • 60 gms Hanson’s Red Chilli Paste
  • 10 gms Black Cardamom Powder
  • 20 gms Fennel Powder
  • 75 gms Fresh Coriander (Chopped)
  • Salt (for taste)
  • Julienned Ginger for Garnishing
